One of the largest shopping mall in the country is SM. The company has been in the country since the 70’s and over the years they have opened close to 100 shopping malls in the Philippines and even outside the country.
In the Philippines, Christmas is celebrated for several months. We start decorating our house and streets as early as September and SM is doing a yearly Christmas Tree Lighting over their 76 SM branch this month.
Before the Christmas Tree Lighting, few children from SOS and Child House joined us to witness and watch a short play. Everyone enjoyed and to these children Christmas is not just recieving gifts from random and charity givers but what SM encourage us to share our blessings by buying a bear worth 200 pesos and proceeds goes to these two charity – SOS and Child House.
As many people say “Sharing is caring”. A simple way to bring smile and future to these children is buying SM bear and many will benefit from the proceeds.
