I love pasta and cooking pasta dish is one of my forte (yes! I’m proud of that, lol). Though it was my first time to cook Tuna Pasta, I’m glad it was successful and really delicious. Pasta is one of the quickest meal to serve for lunch or dinner.
Here are the ingredients I used in making my Tuna Pasta:
Pasta Noodles (any variant and shape) 250g.
Canned tuna (2 cans)
6-8 cloves of garlic (chopped)
1 medium white onion (chopped)
5 small-medium size tomato (diced)
Fresh Basil (chopped)
Salt and pepper (to taste)
Cook the pasta (as per package). Saute garlic until golden in a 2-3 tbsp of good olive oil, brown and add the onions and tomatoes. Add the 2 cans of tuna (with the oil) and cooked for 2-3 minutes just to incorporate all the flavors. Add the cooked noodles and tossed with freshly chopped basil, salt and pepper to taste. And viola! I have my own version of Tuna Pasta.
My kid wants cheese on her pasta so I just added grated quick melt cheese. This is really an easy pasta recipe. I would try other ingredients for my pasta dish, soon!
